The Vignoble cycle route passes your door in Katzenthal! you will have the choice between crisscrossing the wine-growing foothills towards the north or the south or attempting the crossing towards the plain and the Rhine, to join the Basel-Rotterdam cycle route in Baden.
We suggest a cycling day departing from Katzenthal: direction Colmar through the vineyards to join the Colmar canal cycle path, make a gourmet stop in Artzenheim at the Auberge la Coccinelle then go up along the canal towards Sélestat which worth a prolonged stop. Return via the vineyard whenever you feel like it, Bergheim, Ribeauvillé, Riquewihr. You will have crossed the most striking landscapes of this part of Alsace, the vineyards, the plain, the wetlands on the banks of the Rhine.
Alternative: at Artzenheim turn off towards Neuf-Brisach then cross the border towards Vieux Brisach
